Beyond Food: Non-Food Partnership Opportunities

In working closely with underserved communities, we've come to understand that their needs go far beyond food. We welcome support from individuals and organizations to help address these pressing challenges through the following partnership options:

  1. Provide boreholes or wells equipped with water pumps and filtration or treatment systems.
  2. Donate solar-powered kits such as rechargeable lamps and energy-saving bulbs.
  3. Refurbish public school toilets and libraries, or provide educational materials like school bags, books, and footwear for students.
  4. Offer scholarships or sponsor school fees for children living in slum communities.
  5. Sponsor a family on a six-month food scholarship to receive regular supplies from the food bank.
  6. Provide medical supplies such as eyeglasses, wheelchairs, crutches, or breast pads for nursing mothers.
  7. Donate educational materials for children with special needs.
  8. Help pay hospital bills for low-income patients in general hospitals.
  9. Provide sanitary pads for girls and support campaigns promoting sexual health and STD prevention.
  10. Offer nutritional supplements to support pregnant women throughout their pregnancy journey.
  11. Empower widows and extremely indigent women by helping them start small businesses or enroll in skill acquisition programs.
  12. Distribute mosquito nets to families at risk in slum environments.
  13. Support slum sanitation efforts by donating waste bins and participating in clean-up campaigns.
  14. Provide clean cooking stoves to low-income households in under-resourced communities.
  15. Donate postnatal kits for nursing mothers.
  16. Sponsor meals for children in public schools through food vouchers (paid directly to school food vendors in advance).
  17. Register teenage girls for vocational training and empowerment programs.
  18. Donate clothing to families living in slums—gently used second-hand items are sourced locally and distributed to parents and children.
